Pristine Vodka and A.D. Prosecco

Turn your Friday into a FriYAY with Pristine Vodka and Anno Domini Prosecco! A FREE tasting is scheduled for 5/18/18 at Vintage 20 Wine and Spirits.

This week we’re turning your Friday into a FriYAY with a FREE wine AND spirit tasting!

Let’s start off with the fabulousness that is Pristine Vodka. If ever you’ve shopped our shop, there’s a good chance you’re familiar with this sleeper Vodka. What I mean by sleeper is it’s been around our area for a while, and has picked up in volume because people have realized it’s just that damn good.

This movie was a sleeper.

If you like top-shelf vodka without paying a top-shelf price, you should definitely try this one!

prisitne-vodka-anno-domini-proseccoAnother great thing about Pristine Vodka, it’s available through a local importer. We LOVE local.

From the same company, we’ll also have Anno Domini Prosecco available to taste. You may have heard me refer to this one as the “ransom note” prosecco, because the label has an unmistakable “leave me one thousand dollars in unmarked bills under the park bench at noon” feel to it. Of course, I love that about this wine, almost as much as I love the taste. I’ve long been a big prosecco fan, and I *think* this one might be my new favorite.

You can try both of these great products for FREE this Friday 5/18/18 from 4pm-7pm at Vintage 20 Wine and Spirits! Hope to see you there! Cheers!

History

In case you were wondering, I’m not new to blogging about my drinking habit. In fact, I have enjoyed describing wine in odd ways for something like 6 years now. Writing about it (and actually, drinking too) was derailed a bit by having those pesky kids of mine. What a buzzkill 😉

At least they’re cute!!

Anyway, before I opened my own little shop Vintage 20 Wine and Spirits, I worked at Personal Wine Cellar in Glenville, NY and I ran my wine tasting blog there. Here’s a link, if ever you should want to visit. Cheers!

Painted Pail Red Blend

Warm weather means chilled, fruity wines on the deck (at least it does in my house), and Pail Shop Vineyards has my new go-to for an inexpensive and fun little wine: Painted Pail Red Blend. With a strong Concord grape base, it’s sweet (and definitely best sipped cold), but blended out so you get less of that “sandwich jelly” flavor. Fruit forward, it drinks like a sangria– and as per their website, is an excellent base for your sangria.

We LOVE supporting small business (and local business!) so we’re happy to add Pail Shop Vineyards to our growing New York section!

We’ll have a bottle of Painted Pail Red open to try this Friday, May 11th 2018 from 4pm-7pm. It’s a steal at $9.99, but we’ll still give you 10% off your purchase of Painted Pail Red during our tasting event. Cheers!
