Do you want to know what my hands down, 100% most favorite thing EVER about owning a liquor store is?

Besides owning tens of thousands of dollars worth of wine and liquor that I could just drink whenever I wanted, but I don’t because $$?

It’s the TASTINGS. I love picking out something delicious and sharing it with all of you. Because how do you know what you like or don’t like, if you don’t try it first? And how much easier is it to try something if you’re not obligated to buy it? Way easier, right? Try-Before-You-Buy is the best!

This weekend is supposed to have a “feels like” temperature of 102 degrees. Which is gross. Summer is definitely here, and that demands we find the perfect deck/pool/camp/boat/ beverage. Because what’s a lazy summer weekend without an ice cold drink in your hand?

So in honor of it being ridiculously hot out, I’m breaking out my favorite summer sipper: Opici Red Sangria. Yes, it’s a premade Sangria. But I promise you, it lacks NADA in flavor. We sell it in 3 liter boxes because when you break this stuff out at a party, it goes FAST.

You’ll want to keep the box in your fridge or cooler, because it’s definitely best chilled (that’s why it’s one of my summer staples!). With a great citrus tang and a hint of spice, a glass of this sangria goes with everything from burgers and dogs, to ice cubes and upper lip sweat. It’s just a friendly and approachable wine. I want to open it right now.
